The GTX 10 Series Comes to Mobile
August 17, 2016 | By Anthony
When NVIDIA unveiled its ultra powerful GTX 1080, it caused shockwaves and re-defined what a GPU is capable of. The 1080 was soon followed by its siblings the GTX 1070 and 1070, a pair of less power hungry cards boasting the same architecture without the hefty price of the GTX 1080. NVIDIA is now bringing the power of these cards to mobile computers. Laptop users will enjoy the same level of power as desktop users, including VR technology and yes, even 4K gaming.
We’ve discussed the many major perks of the new GTX 10 series and we’re already hard at work beefing up our line of mobile gaming computers with theses new mobile-friendly GPUs. The EON15 and EON17 lines are two examples. You’ll be able to customize your EON15-X with a GTX 1070 or you can outfit it with the 1080 if you choose the larger EON17-X. If one 1080 isn’t satisfactory for your needs, the EON17-SLX will support a dual 1080 GPU. Each of these models support the ultra crisp 4K resolution display plus up to 64GB of RAM, dual SSDs of up to 1TB, and blazing fast 4GHz Intel i7 processors.
